JD-S03 – IFS Project Manager

Remote Role – 50% remote, 50% travel required

Position Purpose – Client/Outside Interface: Serve as the face of ACG to clients, build robust relationships with stakeholders and third parties, and ensure the successful delivery of projects within established timeframes and budgets.

Position Purpose – Internal Interface: Embrace ACG's IFS implementation methodology, actively engage in knowledge sharing, and contribute to the adoption of best practices within the IFS implementation domain. Identify and communicate potential risks, providing mitigation plans to the management team.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Delivering value to IFS customers while managing scope, budget, timeline, and risks. Preparation of resource schedule, forecasting and budgeting reports, fulfilling, and managing project resource demands and maintenance of project plan and project schedules in the internal IFS systems.
  2. Able to set and manage expectations of internal and external stakeholders from multiple nationalities and cultural backgrounds while being comfortable with working in multiple time zones.
  3. Makes timely decisions based on facts, circumstances, needs and governing the project without compromising commercial and contractual terms.
  4. Effectively conveys information to all key stakeholders in both written and verbal formats by preparing and delivering presentations, facilitating successful meetings.
  5. Demonstrates the ability to plan, lead, manage and deliver small to medium projects or major streams of work within larger programs by effectively maintaining program control, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, financial and resource planning processes as per IFS implementation methodology.
  6. Able to effectively identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle by designing, implementing, and operating risk & change management processes with justifications on the financial and program impact.
  7. Builds relationships within and outside the project team, motivates and inspires the team members by delegating responsibilities appropriately. Manages and resolves conflicts by demonstrating strong organizational skills and establishing project governance.
  8. Excellent interpersonal skills including stakeholder management, negotiation, facilitation, conflict resolution and influencing skills taking account of diversity and inclusivity.

PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS

  1. Project execution within given project budget and timeline.
  2. Accuracy in resource schedule planning and execution.
  3. No billing leakage.
  4. Good customer and ACG peer’s feedback.
  5. Proactive on risk identification and mitigation.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/SOFTWARE APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Academic background with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in the field of Information Technology or Business Management.
  • Advanced academic qualification (Masters) or professional qualification (PMP or PRINCE 2) in project management is preferred.
  • 8+ years of proven experience in managing medium to large-scale Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) projects (Implementation/ Upgrade) in a similar (PM) capacity.
  • In-depth understanding of the ERP Implementation Lifecycle and waterfall model.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Smartsheet and JIRA.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

  • Prior experience in delivering ERP/IFS projects in a relevant industry setting (Aerospace & Defense, Energy, Utilities & Resources, Construction & Engineering, Manufacturing, Service Industries, Telco) preferably in a similar or related role.
  • An understanding of IFS contracts (SOW's and PSA's/MSA’s) and the ability to interpret these.
  • A deep understanding of scope management, the ability to recognize scope changes.
  • Demonstrates the ability to Plan, lead, manage and deliver medium to large size projects.
  • Demonstrates a deep understanding of the IFS implementation methodologies and can confidently educate others on this.
  • Demonstrates a deep understanding of and integrates appropriate project management tools and processes.
  • A deep understanding of the IFS Success Offerings (enabled, guided, tailored) and can present on these.
  • Understands when to apply/ obtain the necessary requisite subject matter expertise (technical/functional)
  • Demonstrates the ability to take initiative.
  • Demonstrates the ability to mentor more junior members of the team.
  • Within the confines of the project, can affect change and monitor progress.
  • Demonstrates the ability to respond in a politically astute manner.
  • Demonstrates the ability to manage conflict.
